Why Sakura?
The name Sakura - the Japanese cherry blossom - represents something that resonates deeply with how we work.
An ongoing love of Japan and the Japanese language, meant that the word has always resonated with me personally. Additionally the cherry blossom season in Japan is in late Spring when the weather is good and people can sit in the park, picnicking and watching the cherry blossom blooming.
It is a positive, bright and joyful image and is something very different to how we experience things here in Ireland, and so fits with what we do here in Sakura as a business i.e. supporting SME business owners in a positive and welcoming way, being helpful and ensuring our Clients are happy to pick up the phone to speck with us, while being different to what the more traditional accountancy firms.
Finally, we aim to be that ‘backbone’ for successful SME businesses, and enabling them to be resilient and supporting their growth, and being there for them on that journey year after year !
